Tech Theatre I

This class is designed to provide the student with a basic knowledge of the technical theatre process, including hands-on skills, design basics, general theatre terminology, live performance evaluations, and THS production participation. The students will have access to a fully equipped scene shop, two performance venues, and much of the technical equipment used to enhance the onstage world of the play/musical. The class syllabus and other forms needed for the first week of school are in PDF format on this page. General Reminders

  1. Makes sure that you are reviewing your notes, diagrams etc... for your weekly Quizzes.
  2. Students who have not turned in their Tech 1 Syllabus contract, nor their lab permission forms need to do so ASAP.
  3. Remember that no food or drink ( except water) is allowed in class.
  4. Please review the Cellphone policy and consequences for Tech Thea 1.
  5. To help minnimize distractions and clutter around tables, make sure you remove needed class items from your backpacks and purses to your table and place backpacks and purses at the designated spot in the classroom.
  6. When Signing up for After School Production Hours, make sure that if the date has a # limit needed that you fill out the sign up sheet for that day. These are first come first serve.
