A Word about Fundraising
Fundraising is always a part of the theatre process, whether you are on Broadway or in a high school theatre department. The Taylor PlayMaker directors feel strongly that teaching students how to fundraise, as well as why it is necessary, is an essential part of their theatre training. Of course, our Boosters as our number one fans and producers play a major role in our fundraising efforts as well. We feel very strongly, however, that the responsibility of raising money for shows falls on the students participating in the shows. Each student involved in the department will be responsible for participating in various fundraisers throughout the year, regardless of their level of participation in the current production.
